This was a quick-paced, group project brief given as a 'warm up' getting back into university projects at the start of my second year of university. The task was to take an existing brand, and explore how they could venture into other sectors and expand their existing product range.
My group decided to go for Spotify as our brand, and we wanted to explore how they could create a new product which complements their existing identity, and furthers customer immersion in the brand.
These are some of the initial ideas, which we explored but decided ultimately that we could take it in a new direction which is more product-centred.
Our final idea was the Spotify Sphere, an immersive listening experience which could be implemented in communal spaces or high-end residential settings. This product features surround-sound speakers which can be connected to the user's phone, allowing for a customisable listening experience.
